ABOUT THIS TREATMENT
What Is HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound)?
A non-surgical alternative to a facelift. HIFU, or high-intensity focused ultrasound, reaches the deep tissue layer surgeons tighten, performed by a registered nurse.
HIFU, or high-intensity focused ultrasound, delivers focused energy at controlled depths (1.5mm, 3mm and 4.5mm) to stimulate collagen at the SMAS layer, the same connective tissue surgeons tighten in a facelift. This is what makes it a genuine non-surgical face lift option, lifting and firming the brow, jawline, jowls and neck without surgery or downtime.
Initial results appear in four to six weeks, with full results developing over around three months and typically lasting twelve to eighteen months. The Linear Z device delivers energy in a precise line pattern, allowing more even coverage and a more comfortable treatment than older HIFU systems. Every session begins with a clinical skin assessment to confirm HIFU is right for you.
WHAT HIFU DOES
The benefits of Linear Z HIFU
A single 60–90 minute session targets multiple signs of ageing — visibly, gradually, without surgery.
THE PROCESS
What to Expect
A simple, nurse-led course built around your skin.
1
Consultation & skin mapping
Your nurse assesses your skin, discusses your goals, and confirms HIFU is the right approach. Areas to be treated are mapped — typically lower face, jawline, brow, neck, or full face.
2
Comfort prep & energy delivery
A coupling gel is applied. The Linear Z handpiece delivers focused ultrasound energy in a controlled line pattern, reaching specific depths (1.5mm, 3mm, 4.5mm) depending on the area. Most clients describe a warm, prickling sensation that varies across the treatment.
3
Soothing care & aftercare brief
A calming mask and SPF are applied. Your nurse walks you through aftercare: gentle skincare for 48 hours, sun protection, and what sensations are normal in the days that follow.
4
Follow-up & long-term plan
A check-in at 4–6 weeks reviews early results and discusses whether a second session is recommended for your goals. Annual maintenance is built into your long-term plan.
